For the second year, Women in Mining Sudbury is proud to host the Mining for Diversity Gala, taking place on November 13, 2025. As part of this inspiring evening, we will celebrate the achievements of women in mining through the Mining for Diversity Awards.
These awards are a celebration of the exceptional contributions and achievements of women in the mining industry. Our mission is to highlight the accomplishments of women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and dedication to advancing the mining industry. This event serves as a platform to showcase their achievements, inspire future generations, and promote diversity and inclusion within the sector.

This award recognizes a woman working in the skilled trades within the mining industry who demonstrates excellence, leadership, and innovation in her field. Mentorship Award
The Mentorship Award recognizes and celebrates the mentors and coaches, regardless of their gender, who have supported, encouraged, guided, and advised women along their journeys in the Mining industry, either in school or in their careers. Breaking into a new field is a daunting task at best, and the mining world presents numerous complexities.
