2025 Mining for diversity awards

For the second consecutive year, Women in Mining Sudbury is proud to host the Mining for Diversity Gala, scheduled for November 13, 2025. As part of this inspiring evening, we will celebrate the achievements of women in mining through the Mining for Diversity Awards.

These awards are a celebration of the exceptional contributions and achievements of women in the mining industry. Our mission is to highlight the accomplishments of women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and dedication to advancing the mining industry. This event serves as a platform to showcase their achievements, inspire future generations, and promote diversity and inclusion within the sector.

This is your opportunity to be part of the solution. Think of the women you work with every day — those who bring fresh perspectives, demonstrate inclusive leadership, and serve as invaluable assets to your team. Chances are, you can name more than a few who deserve recognition.

The Awards are broken down into five distinct categories:

 Trailblazer Award

Indigenous Trailblazer Award

Student Trailblazer Award

Mentorship Award

Frontline Excellence Award

By submitting a nomination, you not only celebrate the achievements of outstanding women but also affirm your commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the mining industry.
