Women in Mining (WIM) is a non-for-profit organization that focuses on increasing diversity and representation within the minerals exploration and mining sector. With the support of WIM Canada, we are excited to announce the establishment of the Sudbury WIM chapter.
Our efforts will be put towards promoting personal and professional development for all members across a variety of trades and professions within the mining community here in Sudbury. We strive to advocate and promote opportunities for inclusion, mentorship, community, and stewardship among women and allies with the goal of advancing equality in our community.
At this early stage, sponsorships are crucial in providing us with the resources necessary to start up our chapter and begin hosting events to establish our reputation within the community. This year, funding will be put towards incorporation, website and membership management, and most importantly our chapter launch.
WIM Sudbury values any contribution. As a sponsor, your company will be acknowledged on our website and social media posts, and will have the opportunity to actively participate as members of our chapter. If your company is interested in becoming a sponsor for WIM Sudbury, please contact us and complete the form attached.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
